Timo Glock Relegated Down The Grid
Toyota’s Timo Glock, who qualified an excellent 9th place has been demoted to 19th place following two penalties. He was initially docked 5 places for an unscheduled gearbox change, and another 5 for impeding Mark Webber.

Lewis Hamilton fought off a spirited Robert Kubica to take pole position at Melbourne.
